What to do in Madeira Island

Okay, okay here it is! I got so many messages asking for tips to visit Madeira that I decided to give you deets and inspo on running off to this beautiful Island :)

I was only there for 5 nights, 6 days! Yes, I said Only because I could have stayed a few more days to go see every inch possible.
At the airport we had a transfer that took us to the Hotel and this is something that I recommend. The airport is far from Funchal so it helps a lot.

We stayed at a Pestana Hotel, the Grand that you can take a peek of HERE in my vlog or insta highlights and I was in love with the beautiful view to the Atlantic Ocean from the balconies!

About 3/5 minutes away you have a shopping centre, restaurants and you can easily walk to the centre which will take you about 20 to 30 minutes.

Zona Velha do Funchal (do not miss the painted doors!)

Take a cable car to Monte and enjoy the view and the surrounding gardens such as the Tropical Garden and Botanical Garden
